The Smithers Art Gallery is a non-profit organisation at the heart of the local visual arts community. Our exhibitions change monthly and showcase the work of local and regional artists in solo and group shows. The Smithers Art Gallery is located in the historic Central Park Building, on the corner of Main St and Highway 16 in the centre of Smithers.

 

Art activities for kids during the Farmers' Market

On Saturday mornings in the summer while the Farmers' Market is on the Gallery offers FREE drop-in art activities for kids. 9am-12pm, May through August.

 

Gallery Rental 

The Gallery can be rented outside of our normal hours of operation for meetings and events. We charge $15/hr, and require a $50 damage deposit, which is returned at the end of the rental. Click HERE for more information and a downloadable rental agreement. 

 

Mission Statement

The mission of the Smithers Gallery Association is to foster the development, understanding, and celebration of art in our community through the operation, development and growth of an exhibition gallery, and cultural and educational centre for the visual arts.
