Call for Art - Community Exhibition

Smithers Art Gallery is inviting artists to participate in our upcoming 100 Years of the Fall Fair exhibition from August 13 - September 7, 2019! This is a non-juried community show open to artists of all experience levels.

How to Participate

Complete the registration form (below), sign the contract and submit it to the Gallery by mail or email by August 5, 2019

Guidelines 

Artists may submit up to TWO artworks. We reserve the right to display just one piece if we have a large number of registrations and are constrained by exhibition space limitations.
Two-dimensional artwork must be submitted in ready-to-hang condition (i.e. with hanging wire or hooks installed)
Collaborative group work is permitted.
Artwork does not have to be for sale. The Gallery’s standard commission rate of 25% members/35% non-members will apply to sales. Memberships are $25, valid April 1-March 30, and must be taken out by the start date of the exhibition.

ARTWORK DROP-OFF:    Sunday August 11, 10am-12pm
ARTWORK PICK-UP:       Saturday September 7, 4pm - 6pm


** If you can’t make these dates/times, we would greatly appreciate it if you could make every effort to find a friend or family member to stand in for you as we have extremely limited storage space in the office! Thank you.
